Empowering educators with movement-based, neuro-affirming strategies to support children’s regulation, resilience, and holistic wellbeing.

Kind Connections Learning envisions learning communities where children are deeply seen, understood, and supported to grow as whole-hearted children.
We envision educational spaces where:
-
wellbeing is not separate from learning
-
regulation is understood as foundational
-
educators are the most powerful regulating anchor in the space
-
movement and sensory development are honoured as part of readiness
-
emotional literacy is nurtured through safety, language, and relationship
-
inquiry and creativity are protected as essential parts of the awe of childhood
-
educators are empowered with knowledge, confidence, and reflective tools
-
leadership creates cultures of sustainability, inclusion, and relational care
-
connection to Earth, story, culture, and Indigenous wisdom is valued as key to holistic wellbeing
Our vision is to contribute to meaningful and sustainable change in education by equipping adults and children with frameworks that support both foundations and life-long learning.

Kind Connections Learning works through an integrated set of frameworks, pathways, resources, and professional learning experiences that support the full ecology of learning.
Rather than offering isolated programs, we bring together a connected and coherent approach, one that honours the relationship between development, wellbeing, learning, and the environments in which children grow.
Each pathway focuses on a different aspect of development and practice, while contributing to a shared vision of holistic wellbeing and whole-hearted learning.
Together, these pathways support:
-
children’s development, wellbeing, and sense of identity
-
educator understanding, confidence, and practice
-
reflective and inquiry-driven teaching
-
emotionally safe, regulation-informed learning environments
-
strong, connected early childhood and school cultures
-
sustainable leadership and whole community growth
This integrated approach allows learning communities to move beyond individual strategies, and instead develop a shared language, understanding, and way of working that can be embedded over time.

The Inner Garden:

A story-based, neuroscience-informed approach that
helps children understand their feelings, regulate
their bodies, and build lifelong emotional awareness.
The Inner Garden is a gentle yet powerful emotional
literacy framework that helps children explore their
inner world through story, metaphor, and embodied practice.

The heart behind
Kind Connections Learning
Hi, I’m Justine, educator, mother, and the founder of Kind Connections Learning. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, dysregulated, and striving to do it all "right." This space was born from my own lived experience, blending what I’ve learned as a teacher, a parent, and a person walking alongside others in growth. At Kind Connections Learning, we centre the whole child and the whole educator, offering practical tools with a heartful foundation, so you can support wellbeing in ways that feel aligned, sustainable, and human.
